The MadEdge is a modular sharpening system featuring a rotary mechanism based on cutting-edge rotating clamp technology. Its construction utilizes high-grade steel for all clamps and rotary components, with rubbing surfaces hardened to 900 HV for superior durability. The system stands out with its integrated spherical nuts designed to compensate for screw misalignment on thin knives and is the only system on the market featuring built-in wear compensation for the turning mechanism. For maximum precision, an anti-friction bronze bushing is pressed into the hinge of the sliding assembly, ensuring ultra-smooth stone movement. The device is equipped with a premium stained oak handle and offers total versatility for sharpening knives, scissors, and chisels. It supports sharpening angles from 10° to 40° per side with a rotary accuracy of 0.2°, and is compatible with both blank and standard stones up to 220 mm in length and from 12 mm in width.
